Accuracy and assumptions

Results depend on defaults, your inputs, and data that may be incomplete or out of date. CarCostIQ does not warrant accuracy for any particular purpose.

Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Site, attempt to disrupt services, or scrape in a way that harms availability.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CarCostIQ and its operators are not liable for any loss arising from use of the Site or reliance on its outputs.

Premium Report (paid feature)

CarCostIQ offers an optional Premium Report for a one-off payment of US$9.99 (USD, ≈A$14), processed by Creem as Merchant of Record. This is a single payment — no subscription, no recurring charges. The Premium Report unlocks for the specific vehicle comparison you paid against; it is not transferable to other comparisons. Access does not require an account; the unlock is tied to your comparison's unique identifier.

Refunds

If you are unsatisfied with the Premium Report, contact support@carcostiq.com within a reasonable time of purchase (typically 14 days) and CarCostIQ will review on a case-by-case basis. Where required by Australian consumer law, statutory rights apply regardless of this policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in Australian courts of competent jurisdiction, without affecting any non-waivable rights you may have under Australian consumer law.
